On June 8th and representing American Legion Post 539, Gary Gillette entertained approximately 20 residents at the North Carolina Veterans Home in Kinston, NC, with a medley of songs, dating back to the 1950s. It appeared that all the residents and staff enjoyed the music, with only one resident falling asleep. Pictured are Tammy Gillette (Gary's wife), Sheila Quinn (Veterans Home Activities Director), and of course Gary.
