Liz Hartman is a Financial Advisor in New Bern, NC and a Marine Corps Veteran. She serves as the Commander of American Legion Post #539, and on the boards of the New Bern Military Alliance and the Young Professionals of Craven County. She can often be seen advocating on behalf of veterans at the local and state levels. She is particularly interested in programming that supports and engages Post 9/11 veterans. She is a proud Marine Corps spouse and actively fights for economic initiatives that benefit military families. In her free time, she can be found binging Netflix, eating hummus, and spending time with her pup, Billy. She will be hiking for her Post.

David Hamill is an Eastern North Carolina native and Army Veteran who served as a Sergeant with the 514th Military Police Company from 99-05. A Father to three amazing kids and husband to Samantha, the love of his life. He is currently self-employed in the insurance industry helping business owners provide benefits platforms and other business ventures. he enjoys the outdoors, nature, and people, specifically learning the customs and cultures of others. Other memberships include Veteran Business Collective, VFW, NC Masons, Sudan Shriners, and Chamber of Commerce

Bob graduated from West Point and received a commission in the United States Army as an Aviation Officer. He served as a Blackhawk pilot, logistician, and Inspector General and commanded at Company and Battalion levels. Bob was stationed all over the US - Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, and Texas - and all over the world - Somalia, Germany, Bosnia, Korea, Kuwait, and Japan. He retired from the Army after 28 years of service. Bob is married to Amy Brinson, a 26-year Army veteran, and has three adult children. He also serves on various volunteer boards in Craven County.

Roy served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971 as a B-52 Aircraft Mechanic. He worked as a civilian for the U. S. Government for 37 years before retiring in 2011 with a combined 41 years of federal service. Roy has been a member of The American Legion for 16 years with the last 10 years a member of Post 539. Presently he is serving his second consecutive year as the post Sgt. at Arms. Roy has been married to Carolyn for 53 years; they have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.

Greg is a Marine, serving from 1979 to 1983. Greg currently serves as the Post Historian and Newsletter Editor and is a PUFL member with over 30 years of service. Greg is also a Life Member of the Marine Corps League and is the Historian for 2 Detachments, the Dept. of NC, and the National Historian. Greg also collects USMC memorabilia and is the curator of the online Naval Cover Museum. Greg has been married to Lisa Ciesielski since 1983.
